Terms of Use

Last updated: February 2026 (v2.10)

1. Acceptance

By creating an Audvoyz account or paying for a plan, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Audvoyz converts documents you upload (PDF, DOCX, EPUB, TXT, Markdown) into narrated MP3 audiobooks, produces summaries and translations, mixes optional AI-generated background music, auto-cuts a 60-second social-media clip from your finished audiobook, turns that clip (or the whole audiobook) into an MP4 slideshow video from photos you upload, lets you edit and re-narrate the text of any book you've created, exports publisher-ready delivery bundles, and answers questions grounded in the source document. Availability is best-effort; we target 99.5% uptime.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and, if applicable, legally able to bind your business.
  • Keep your login secure. You are responsible for actions taken under your account.
  • One person per account. Team seats sold separately.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Audvoyz to generate or distribute content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, deceptive impersonation, or that infringes on the rights of others. Do not use the service to circumvent audiobook licensing, to redistribute commercially-licensed narrations, or to mass-produce content for spam. Do not use the voice preview feature or any other tool to attempt to circumvent monthly word quotas. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Your content and generated output

You own the documents you upload, the source text we preserve on your behalf so you can edit it, and the audiobooks, summaries, translations, background-music mixes, cover art, and answer transcripts we produce from them. You grant Audvoyz a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and deliver this content strictly to operate the service. Your content is never used to train language, voice, or music models.

6. Documents and third-party rights

By uploading a document you represent that you own it, have permission to convert it to audio and/or translate it, or that its use qualifies under an applicable exception (personal study, accessibility, fair use, etc. — laws vary by country). Uploading copyrighted material for commercial distribution without permission is prohibited. Audvoyz is not liable for takedowns, DMCA claims, or copyright disputes arising from unauthorised uploads, and reserves the right to remove content following a valid notice.

7. Voice cloning & custom narrators (Studio tier)

If you upload an audio sample to create a custom narrator voice, you represent and warrant that either (a) it is your own voice, or (b) you have obtained the explicit, informed, written consent of the individual whose voice is being cloned to have their voice modelled by Audvoyz for the purpose of narration. You are solely responsible for any dispute arising from the misuse or unauthorised cloning of another person's voice. Audvoyz does not permit voice cloning for impersonation, fraud, deep-fakes, or any content that violates a third party's publicity, likeness, or privacy rights. We may remove any custom voice and suspend accounts that violate this section.

8. AI-generated cover art

Audvoyz may auto-generate cover images for the audiobooks you produce. These images are created from the document title and a brief theme cue only; no text or personal information from your document is embedded in the image. You may regenerate or delete the cover at any time. You are responsible for reviewing any generated cover before publishing or distributing your audiobook — do not rely on generated imagery for regulatory, medical, safety, or trademark-sensitive uses.

9. AI-generated background music (Creator+ tier)

If you enable the “Add background music” option — either during audiobook creation or from your library — Audvoyz synthesises an original ambient music bed from your mood prompt (or a default cinematic prompt) via a licensed music-generation provider and mixes it under the narration at approximately -22 dB. The music is fully synthetic: it contains no third-party samples, no pre-existing recordings, no artist stems, and no copyrighted composition. You are granted a royalty-free licence to use the music bed as part of the audiobook it was generated for, including for commercial distribution. You may not extract, sell, or redistribute the music bed independently of its parent audiobook. Automated music generation occasionally produces off-brief results — preview and, if needed, re-generate before publishing.

10. Voice + music previews

The “Preview voice” button in Studio renders a ~15-second sample of your chosen narrator (and optional music mood) at no cost to your monthly word quota. Preview generations are rate-limited to a small number per user per hour to prevent abuse of provider credits; identical preview requests are served instantly from a server-side cache. Do not attempt to use previews to stitch together longer audio outside your paid plan — see §4 (Acceptable use).

11. Editing & re-narration

You may edit the text of any audiobook you have created (including translations) and re-narrate it in a new voice or with a different background-music mood. Each re-narration is treated as a fresh generation and consumes words from your monthly word quota based on the new text's word count. The previous MP3 is replaced — we do not keep prior renderings after a successful re-render. You are responsible for the accuracy of edits made to translated text; automated re-narration renders whatever text you save, verbatim.

12. 60-second Social Clip & Photo-to-Video

Once an audiobook has finished rendering, you can (a) auto-cut a 60-second highlight clip that Audvoyz extracts from the narration for use on Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X/Twitter, and similar short-form platforms, and (b) turn the 60-second clip or the entire audiobook into a vertical 1080×1920 MP4 slideshow by uploading your own photos (Reel: up to 8 photos; full-book video: up to 30 photos, subject to your plan). Photos are uploaded one-at-a-time to Audvoyz's object store, composited server-side with ffmpeg, and delivered to you as a downloadable MP4. Staged photos are deleted from our servers automatically after a successful build. You represent and warrant that you own or are licensed to use every photo you upload, and that no photo depicts a person or trademarked mark without the necessary consent or licence. You are solely responsible for the platforms you publish the output on and for complying with their community and copyright rules. Audvoyz grants you a royalty-free licence to use the resulting MP4 commercially or non-commercially; you may not resell or redistribute the underlying stitching pipeline itself.

13. Publisher-ready delivery bundles

Studio-tier subscribers may export a “publisher-ready” ZIP bundle (numbered chapter MP3s at 192 kbps CBR, 44.1 kHz mono; retail sample; square cover art; metadata manifest). The bundle is engineered to the widely-accepted audiobook technical spec used by distributors such as Findaway Voices, Google Play Books, and Kobo Writing Life. Note: Audible / ACX does not currently accept AI-narrated audiobooks; do not submit an Audvoyz-generated bundle to ACX. Verify each distributor's AI-narration policy before submission. Audvoyz makes no representation that any specific distributor will accept a given bundle.

14. Payments & refunds

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account — you keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Grandfathered lifetime holders (deal closed February 2026) retain access under their original terms; no new lifetime purchases are accepted.
  • Monthly and yearly plans are refundable within 7 days provided you have consumed less than 20% of the plan's monthly word quota (and, for yearly plans, less than one full month), at our discretion.
  • Prices exclude applicable taxes. Our payment processor handles tax calculation and remittance where required.

15. Output review

Automated narration, summarisation, translation, background-music generation, social-clip extraction, photo-to-video composition, cover art, and Q&A occasionally produce mistakes (mispronunciations, missing context, factual errors, off-brief music, awkward photo timing, imprecise imagery). Preview the output before publishing, distributing, or relying on it — you remain responsible for what you share.

16. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination we delete your data within 30 days, except transaction records we must retain for tax and accounting compliance.

17. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

18. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Audvoyz's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Where mandatory local consumer protections apply (EU, UK, California, etc.), they take precedence over anything inconsistent in these Terms. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting info@audvoyz.com. Unresolved disputes will be settled by the competent courts of Audvoyz's place of establishment, unless applicable law entitles you to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

19. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
